International Women’s Day (IWD) is Women Techmakers largest annual campaign where we host events all around the world during the months of March and April in celebration amazing women in our communities, creating connections, educate and inspire our tech community. It also marks as a moment to celebrate and provide visibility for the incredible contributions of women around the world!

Our theme for IWD 2024 this year is IMPACT THE FUTURE.
We all have the power and the responsibility to impact the future of technology and society, with AI as a major part of shaping our world. What will that future look like? And how will we build it? We can use our skills, creativity and passion to create positive change and solve the problems that matter to us and our communities. We can also inspire the next generation of women in tech who will continue to impact the future with their own ideas and innovations.
