Have you ever heard of the Kotlin programming language (not the island 💁)? Have you ever wondered how to use it to create Android apps? And finally, are you tired of sitting at home and want to do something very interesting and useful? Well… then you are at the right place at the right time!

The GDG Yerevan community with PicsArt Armenia are organizing Android Study Jams: study groups for people who want to learn how to build Android apps in the Kotlin programming language, using a curriculum provided by Google.

Our experienced mentors will tell you about Kotlin and Android development itself, teach you how to create multiple layouts and add user interactivity to your apps, architectural components (such as ViewModel and LiveData), creating databases using Room library etc.

Android Study Jams are divided into modules, each module has a codelab which will guide you through practical training and after each module you need to pass a quiz, in order to earn a badge! When all the badges are collected you will receive a Certificate of Completion from GDG Yerevan community!
