Game Development with Construct Engine

This workshop is designed to kickstart your 2D game development skills with a user friendly and time efficient way.Throughout the event, we will be discovering the UI and the elements that can be used to later on develop our simple platform game similar to the famous Super Mario.

Tools needed: Construct 3 runs in the browser but download Construct 2 in case of no available internet connection.

Attendee level: This workshop is good for designers and artists who want to develop 2D games but have a little background in coding, it’s also great for beginner to intermediate level programmers who would like to save sometime and get their game dev up to speed.

Bio: Hala Al-Faisal is a computer engineer who is passionate about technology, sciences, and arts. Her current work experience as a developer in KFAS Academy (Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences Academy) along with her pursuit to an engineering master’s degree,exposed her to multidisciplinary sparks of knowledge. You will always find her competing in hackathons and participating in community activities.In her leisure time,she enjoys practicing art, photographing scenery, playing the piano, and coding.
