About this event

We have an amazing night of technology lined up for the Windsor GDG this month!

We will be meeting at the Institute for Border Logistics and Security. They have graciously offered to provide a super cool demo of their new VR Cave.

What is the VR Cave? The VR Cave is a full immersive VR experience built to provide companies the opportunity to test their technologies related to Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (C/AVs). The best part - we will get a demo of the VR Cave and check out the latest cutting edge technology in VR assisted design. More details of the VR Cave can be found here -> https://www.wavin.ca/vr-cave.html.

After the demo, we will be diving into a quick lab to build a mobile app using Flutter and Firebase. Flutter is Google's new mobile framework for building high quality mobile apps for both Android and iPhone from one codebase. It is super easy to pick up and get started with. We will be covering the latest news from the recently announced version 1.7 of Flutter and help you get started building mobile apps using Flutter.
