About this event

***We will be meeting in Room 320***

TensorFlow is one of the most active open source machine learning projects in the world and powers a lot of Google's Machine Learning products.

Join us as Josh Gordon, Google Developer Advocate, talks about what TensorFlow is and how to get started. In this one hour tutorial, we will briefly introduce TensorFlow 2.0, then dive in to training neural networks. This tutorial is targeted at folks new to TensorFlow. It helps if you have prior machine learning experience, but you can still follow along if not. Attendees will need a laptop with an internet connection, there is nothing to install in advance. The goal of our tutorial is not to teach you everything you need to know (of course, it's lightening fast!) but to get you started. We will aim to work through a couple Jupyter notebooks.

About Josh
Josh Gordon works on the TensorFlow team at Google, and teaches Applied Deep Learning at Columbia University and Pace University. He has over a decade of machine learning experience to share. You can find him on Twitter at https://twitter.com/random_forests.

Unfortunately we can not validate parking.

A map of available parking at St Clair College can be found here:

Due to construction the main Visitor lot is closed (LOT T). The best alternative for visitor parking is Lot H (the small “s” indicates a pay machine). Other lots marked with a “star” are also available for visitor parking.
