Jetpack Compose is Android's modern UI development toolkit, which forms the foundation of the Sharesies Android app! Join us for our first tech talk of the year where we learn how Sharesies leverages Compose to create a simple and extensible Android platform, and walk through the journey of how they got there.

This meetup we'll hear from Jamie Sanson, a Tech Lead at Sharesies and GDE for Android. He'll be sharing the Sharesies mobile journey, diving into a session titled Building Sharesies with Jetpack Compose.

We're also looking for ideas for future meetups and events, so bring along ideas for presentations, demos, meetups, and everything in between! We'd love to hold meetups more frequently, so if you've got space and capacity to host we'd love to hear from you.

This month we're hosted in the Sharesies offices. These are at 111 Customhouse Quay, across the road from Mojo in the Old Bank Arcade. Look for a poster on the door, which will give you directions to get in!
