Jetpack Compose is the new, native UI toolkit for Android. It's built on modern assumptions of modern architecture, and powerful Kotlin APIs. Compose went 1.0 right at the end of July, so let's get together and talk about it!

Jetpack Compose is Android’s modern toolkit for building native UI. It simplifies and accelerates UI development on Android, and it's recently reached it's first full release! To celebrate this, along with the rollout of Android 12, Google are running a series of meetups to highlight some of the exciting new things these enable.
Join us on October 7th for an evening of Jetpack Compose. This meetup, Jamie Sanson's going to run us through it differs from how we used to build our UIs, and ways in which you can leverage compose to build things more quickly and easily!
