About this event

The first talk will begin with an explanation of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Advertisement Packets. It will then explore what Bluetooth Beacons are and how they can be used to enable the Physical Web. There will be some demos followed by a Q/A period.

The second presentation, Origin Trials, is a new way to enable web developers to try out new features such as the Web Bluetooth API. When enabled on Chrome this will allow you to scan for and connect to Bluetooth devices. Developers are invited to try out this API and provide feedback on the spec and/or implementation.
