About the Speakers:

Hasan Rafiq, a Senior AI Engineer at Google, brings over 12 years of experience in Machine Learning, NLP, GCP, and TensorFlow. Hasan's passion for developing cutting-edge AI solutions and his wealth of knowledge makes him an expert guide in navigating the intricacies of data potential with the Vertex AI suite on Google Cloud Platform.

Stanislaw Smyl - Data Engineer/Data Scientist currently working for baseball team New York Mets. Passionate about data, from early ingestion to Machine Learning workloads. Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer.

Key Learnings:

• AutoML: This is your new ally for building machine learning models without the need for extensive coding. With AutoML, you can create sophisticated models with just a few clicks, making machine learning more accessible and user-friendly. AutoML takes care of the complexities, allowing you to focus on interpreting and applying the results.
• BQML (BigQuery ML): We'll guide you through using BQML, a powerful tool that lets you run machine learning models directly within BigQuery. This offers speedy insights from your data, allowing you to make data-driven decisions faster and more efficiently.
• During Google IO, Google announced release of its new model, PaLM 2, with amazing capabilities of text generation and reasoning. In this talk, I will walk through possibilities to use the model on GCP's Vertex AI Platform programmatically.
