It was good to see so many attendees for our first in-person meeting last week. Kenny Haworth gave a great presentation.
We will meet again in-person this Friday, March 4 in John Muir 208. We will continue to enforce mask usage until further notice.
We want to jump right into projects this week, so we will not be having a formal presentation. We will make a few announcements and then get you going on project work. Think about which project you want to work on OR be prepared to propose your own project.
Projects currently underway that you can join (or rejoin):
1. Interactive sand table topography system (Here is an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bA4uvkAStPc )
2. Internet of Things (IOT)
3. Friday Night Leeches with Dr. Puhl
4. Geodesic Dome construction
5. 360 Camera
6. Computer cart repair
7. Laser cutter/etcher - preparing centerpieces for COS nursing banquet
8. Others - make a proposal
5:30-6:00 pm Pizza!
6 - 6:15 pm Announcements, project descriptions and sign-ups
6:15 - 10 pm Projects
Since we will be working on separate projects, there will not be a Zoom option this week.
(If someone wants to create an online project group and volunteers to lead it, let me know and I will announce it.)
