International Women's Day (IWD) is marked March 8th every year. The focus of celebration ranges from general respect and celebration toward women to a celebration of women's economic, political and social achievements. It is an important moment to recognize how women have influenced the tech industry and beyond. Women Techmakers Uyo will celebrate International Women’s day the tech fun way. WTM Uyo encourages all genders to partake in the WTM Uyo IWD celebration. We will be having a workshop on getting started with ML Explainability and Trust, Foundations of Thought Leadership: Reframing Your Narrative and other interesting sessions like #Icebreakers and fireside.
