About this event

A non-competitive, free hackathon, designed by and for women and allies

In 2015, UA Libraries helped to create the UA Women’s Hackathon (formerly known as the Women Techmakers Hackathon), a women-founded, non-competitive, free hackathon designed by and for women and allies.

Create tech-driven projects over the course of two days

Our mission is to bring together as many voices, experiences, and networks as possible so that participants of all skill levels can come together to create tech-driven projects over the course of two days. We start off with three Saturdays of workshops, then a kickoff event Monday, March 8 (International Women's Day!), two days of hacking and hanging out Tuesday and Wednesday March 9-10, and then a finale celebration and presentation of projects Saturday, March 13.

Open to campus and community members of all ages.
