In this fourth workshop, we'll examine the environmental impact of computing with a deep dive into the impacts of cryptocurrency mining and AI with guest presenter, Csaba Toth. We'll also take a look at the sustainability plans of some of the larger tech companies, like Google and Microsoft, and how the proliferation of Large Language Models is affecting the achievement of their goals.
