GDG Tucson launched a sustainability series this year. Join us each month through the end of 2021 as we discover how technology can be used to achieve the UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).

This month's virtual workshop addresses SDG #11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.

SDG 11 focuses on a number of aspects of urban living. We'll look at each one of targets that make up SDG 11 with a focus on the issues relevant to Tucson and how the city and county are addressing them - especially examining the available open data and plans that are published and in work. Most of the world's population lives in cities, so achieving this goal is essential for our future.
