The 20th Games for Change Festival will be happening in NYC in July 2023. That inspired this six month series about how game developers can affect change in the world.

This first month's event will be about preparing for a game jam. Game jams are a great way to develop your skills and promote your creativity - and there is a game jam coming up at the end of January!

Global Game Jam 23 starts January 30th. The Tucson Game Developers will be hosting a virtual game jam site starting on the 30th (more info and sign ups here: http://tucsongamedev.com/?page_id=6503) and the UA Game Dev Club is hosting an in-person game jam site kicking off on February 3rd (more info here: https://globalgamejam.org/2023/jam-sites/ggj-tucson-2023).
