Android for Beginners Study Jam

Do you want to be an App Superstar, but don’t know the first thing about coding?

Have you ever looked up from your phone and wondered, “How do they make these?”

If the answer to either of these is “yes!” then the Android for Beginners Study Jam might be for you.

Our Study Jam with GDE (Google Developer Expert) Faizal Abid will run for 4 weeks. And will take you from beginner to building three of your very own Android apps!

How it will work:

Beginning March 10th, we’ll be meeting every week on Thursday nights from 7pm-9pm.

During the week prior to each session you will watch the lesson videos on Udacity, take the quizzes and make your apps.

Then, in the Study Jam sessions our GDE Faisal will recap what was covered in the weeks lessons, answer the questions you have, and take a deep dive into more complex developing questions.

At the end of the four weeks, you will walk away with your very own Android for Beginners certificates*, some GDG/Google swag, and the knowledge to go further into the world of developing on Android. 

What’s Expected of You, the Participant?

It will be your responsibility to come prepared.

In order to qualify for the certificate from Udacity and Google swag at the end, you will need to have attended all four sessions with us, watched through the entire course through this special link and complete your three apps.

• Laptop (able to run Android Studio)
