About this event

Accessibility has often been an afterthought to web developers. But they are often and clearly the best to catch and address a bug before anything is committed. Not so long ago the WordPress web team launched the Gutenberg block editor. it was launched before accessibility engineers could make effective changes to fix bugs. Developers were releasing code despite failing easy tests. We don’t do this for JavaScript errors, so why are UX issues treated differently? It should not!

If you want to reduce issues and release clean code without compromise, attend this talk. We will dive in with live examples exploring...

  • Component level testing
  • Intelligent Guided Testing
  • IDE Linting
