Hi everyone,

Another great Angular TLV meetup is coming!

And this time, the hottest buzzword of 2023 - Signals!

After our last teasers about signals, finally, the Angular core team announced the move to signals as their reactive mechanism making zonesjs (and maybe even rxjs) optional!

Come learn everything you should know about what Signals are, and what Angular is gonna look like in the near future.

Seats are limited and pre-registration is required in this form:

Talks & Speakers:

18:00 - Gathering, endless food & beers

18:30 - 19:00: Bye Bye Zone.js, Hello Signals

In a fine-grained reactive web framework, components track which parts of the application's data model they depend on, and are only synchronized with the UI when that model changes. This is fundamentally different from how Angular works today, where it uses zone.js to trigger global top-down change detection for the whole application.

In this talk, we will explain and demonstrate what are signals, why Angular needs them and how the future of Angular will look like!

Eliran Eliassy, CEO @ e-square.io, Angular Google Developer Expert (GDE)

19:00 - 19:30: is RxJs dead?

While RxJs has been a widely-used library for handling reactive programming in Angular applications, the recent addition of signals has raised questions about its continued relevance. Join us for a thought-provoking talk on the future of RxJs in Angular development, where we'll explore the benefits and drawbacks of using this library, as well as how the new addition of signals might impact its usage.
