About this event

The Speaker of the meetup, Kamila, is originally from Tashkent, but grew up in the United States and is currently based out of London. She is a graduate of Temple University’s Fox School of Business in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Legal Studies, and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs in New York City with a Master of International Affairs in Economic Development.

Kamila started her career as an Analyst at JPMorgan Private Bank as part of the Corporate Analyst Development Program, focusing on refinancing and purchasing deals for the high-net-worth clients of the bank. In her most recent role at JPMorgan Chase, she was the Vice President of Corporate Product Management, covering strategic digitization initiatives across JPMorgan’s five lines of business. Kamila has also worked on projects as a Graduate Management Consultant with the UN Peacekeeping Operations Mission in Kosovo and the Hunger Project NGO in Uganda.

Since joining Sturgeon Capital, Kamila has been working on a research project aimed to identify challenges women face in entering the venture space in the frontier markets of Bangladesh, Egypt, Pakistan, Georgia, and Central Asia. During the session, she will share her findings of the research.
