About this event

Flutter delivers a powerful, open source UI toolkit for building stunning experiences across mobile, desktop, embedded, and web devices. Explore to learn where Flutter is headed next. Come join us and get started with Flutter and learn how to build amazing applications.

In order to follow along you will need to have Flutter installed on your computer. Please follow this link https://docs.flutter.dev/get-started/install and use the instructions for your OS. You can use VS code or Android Studio as an IDE. We will be using Android Studio but you should not have any problems following along if you use a different IDE.

We will be implementing the game Dots and Boxes. It's a game where two players take turns connecting two adjacent dots with a line. The goal is to complete a four-sided box, or square, by connecting four lines that cover a spatial area. The player who completes the fourth side of a box earns one point and takes another turn. The game ends when all lines are drawn and boxes are claimed. The player with the most points wins.
This is a series of Flutter events. If you have not attended the previous events no worries we always do a bit of review before we start coding. Also here is the link to the github repo https://github.com/sathisse/dots_and_boxes.

See you there!
