Ahalya Ravendran is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Australian Centre for Robotics, The University of Sydney, in Australia. Her research interests lie in the field of robotic vision, with a focus on creatively imaging and extracting features from scenes that are otherwise difficult for robots to understand. During her PhD studies, she extended the range of low-light conditions in which robots could operate, opening up new possibilities for real-world applications. Ahalya is also a remote drone pilot and an ambassador for Women Techmakers.

He specializes in serverless and event-driven architectures, microservices, networking in the cloud, and workflow-driven applications. Prasiddha has earned 5+ AWS, CKA/CKAD, CCNA, and Terraform certifications and is constantly seeking new challenges. In his free time, he enjoys tinkering with new technologies, reading technical blogs, and working on side projects.

Catherine is a Customer Engineer with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) at Google. She is a Blackbelt specialist for GenAI, where she utilizes her background in Computer Science and Applied Statistics to drive the company's AI initiatives.

Heather Doig is a PhD student with the Australian Centre for Field Robotics at the University of Sydney. She is researching how machine learning can be improved to interpret images of the sea floor to better monitor and protect the underwater world. Before getting into data science and machine learning, Heather worked in technology and operations management at Macquarie Bank and Reachout, Australia's leading online youth mental health service. When not researching the ocean, she enjoys being on it, in it or even just near it.

Naila is currently working as a Data Scientist at the University of Sydney. With over a decade of experience in both industry and academia, she has a profound dedication to the field of AI and its diverse applications. During her journey, Naila has leveraged machine learning to enhance embedded system security, and optimize learning and teaching experiences. Naila actively advocates for diversity and inclusivity and is part of numerous women in STEM groups. Presently, she is serving as the Chair of IEEE NSW Women in Engineering Affinity Group and Vice-Chair of IEEE Computer Society NSW Chapter. Naila's contributions have been recognized with several prestigious accolades, including the esteemed global IEEE WIE Inspiring Student Volunteer of the Year award.
