In Google I/O we learned about Room and how great it is for persisting data without having to write all that tedious boilerplate code we would if we were just using a SQLite database on its own. 

We'll also check out Chiu-Ki Chan speaking about How to Become an Android Expert. Chiu-Ki is a Google Developer Expert in Android.
