Are you interested in strengthening your database skills? Join us for this FREE SQL Bootcamp session this weekend online using Zoom! This session is open to anyone who wants to join, students, professionals, hobbyists, anyone!

We are going to work through the bite-sized SQL crash course, FREE online book at https://sqlcrashcourse.com/. This event is a great opportunity for you to participate in a GDG (Google Developers Group) event, meet others in the tech community, learn and practice your SQL skills, and have some fun! Each tiny piece of this book is easy and simple to follow along with, and we will use some interactive examples so you can write and experiment with queries as we go.

In this event, we are going to have a 3 hour SQL Bootcamp. The BootCamp will include a walkthrough of SQL programming, particularly related to data analysis. In this Bootcamp, we are going to work on SQL from the beginning to the end and provide a great opportunity to network.

In this SQL crash course, we are going to look at many areas of SQL.

This will include the main SQL commands such as SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT INTO and DELETE. We’ll look at functions such as SUM, COUNT and AVG. We’ll delve into joining tables using JOINS such as INNER JOIN, LEFT and RIGHT JOIN, OUTER JOIN and CROSS JOIN.

Added together, this knowledge will give you a major head-start on your way to becoming a SQL Grand Master.

Buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride.
