Android Development for Beginners study group

About this event

For week two of the Android Development for Beginners course, please bring a laptop! And note the new location: the Brenda Wallace Computer Lab in the J.N. Desmarais Library at Laurentian University. (More power!)

After finishing Lesson 1B as homework, our focus will be to work through Practical Exercise #1 together. This exercise walks you through getting Android Studio installed and running before compiling and deploying your first application on your Android phone or tablet (or, failing that, onto an Android emulator you can run on your laptop.)

By the end of the exercise, you'll have created a personalized greeting card app for the special person/people in your life!

Admission is free, and light food & drink will be provided for those who RSVP.
