18:00 - 18:45 Reactive Clean Architecture on Android by Viktor Nyblom

Abstract:
Working with Android is not always easy and as the codebase grows lifecycle callbacks, threading and new api calls tend to bloat our components until you end up with a big bowl of spaghetti. In this talk, Viktor will explain how to implement Uncle Bob’s Clean Architecture on Android in order to provide you as a developer with a framework for building maintainable, testable apps.
You will learn how to structure your code in a way that makes it easy to add features, easy to integrate unit tests and easy to handle threading

To gain the most from this talk you should at least be somewhat familiar with Kotlin and RxJava

Bio:
Viktor Nyblom is one of the founders of Devies and has been building great experiences for Android users since before the ActionBar. He has been working everything from streaming services and dating apps to AOSP it self

18:50 - 19:45 Followup with Real world example by Jesper Qvarfordt

Abstract:
As a followup on Viktors talk on Clean Architecture, I will show a real world example on how this can be implemented on Android by showing the code of a music app that I published a few weeks ago

Bio:
Jesper Qvarfordt work as the Lead Android developer at BookBeat. He has a strong passion for building robust apps with good architecture
