About this event

It's never too late to find a career you love! Better yet, there are ways to retrain yourself without accumulating (more) debt or adding letters behind your name. You can go to work (almost) everyday, excited about what you do and loving your future.

Join us as Andie Hemmersmeier talks about her transition to tech. A School Psychologist by education, Andie found herself in a career that was less than ideal and not fulfilling in the way she'd hoped. Through taking a somewhat non-traditional path, she taught herself about design and the accompanying software and even learned a bit about coding along the way. Andie now works as an Experience Design Consultant where she is able to marry two of her passions - great design and psychology.

Slalom's Women's Leadership Network and Women Techmakers St. Louis are excited to have you join us for Andie's talk followed by a panel full of people with non-linear career paths that are ready to answer your questions and help you change careers!
