As a Master's student in Mathematics, I have a passion for leveraging the power of data science to address complex societal problems. Specifically, I am particularly drawn to the application of Topological Data Analysis, which can be used to uncover hidden patterns and relationships within large data sets. Through my involvement as a Women Techmaker Ambassador, GDSC Alumni Lead, Microsoft Student Learn Ambassador Alumni Lead, and Girl Code Ambassador, I am committed to promoting the inclusion and empowerment of women in STEM fields. I believe that everyone, regardless of their background, should have the opportunity to explore and pursue a career in technology.
In addition to my ambassador roles, I serve as a co-organizer for GDG Cape Town, where I work to connect and support local developers. I am also a Community Lead for Africa's Talking, where I collaborate with other leaders to provide learning opportunities and events for the South African community. Through these roles, I am committed to sharing my knowledge and experiences with others, and to help others develop their own skills and expertise.
My interest in AI and ML was sparked by my experience as a Google Crowdsource Influencer, and I am always eager to deepen my understanding of these fields. I believe that knowledge is power and that staying abreast of the latest developments in technology is essential for making a positive impact in the world.
In addition to the interests mentioned above, I am also an avid Android enthusiast and aspiring Kotlin developer. I am a jetpack compose enthusiast and really enjoy Android development. As a beginner Kotlin developer, I am striving to improve by creating and building with others in Android Studio. Ultimately, my goal is to use my skills and passion to encourage and support others in pursuing their own interests in tech, and to help create a more inclusive and equitable future for all
