On December 22, 2015, the General Assembly decided to establish an annual International Day for the Recognition of the Critical Role of Women and Girls in Science and Technology.
The International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which is celebrated on February 11, is organized by UNESCO and UN-Women in cooperation institutions and civil society partners that aim to promote women and girls in science. This day is an opportunity to promote full and equal access and participation in science for women and girls.
On that occasion, Women in Tech Macedonia, Google Developers Group Skopje, Women TechMakers and MLSA organize a panel discussion with women from the industry who will share their experiences and tips in the IT sector.
