Romain was previously on the Android framework team where he spent years working on the UI toolkit and hardware accelerated rendering pipeline. Chet Haase leads the Android UI Toolkit team at Google, which delivers user interface components, graphics, animations, and text functionality to Android devices everywhere. Chet likes giving talks at developer conferences like this one and enjoys speaking about himself in the third person.
