In collaboration with IBM, GDG Sharjah is glad to invite you to a Deep Learning workshop series! This new advanced level series for audiences interested to specialize in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. 

While Deep Learning is a subset of Machine Learning, the prediction methodology in deep learning is different and works like how a human brain uses neural pathways to process information & learn from it. In this workshop, we will learn about the building blocks of deep learning, neural networks, and how they work. We'll start with Logistic Regression - a simple and basic neural network classification algorithm, having just a one-layer neural network.

In this first workshop of the Your Path to Deep Learning series, we will teach you how to use Natural Language Processing to classify user reviews from the IMDB Dataset. Developers can leverage user reviews for a given product or service from social media sites and customer reviews, and use Deep Learning models & identify patterns to predict sentiments, or other statistics to be used for business decisions. In this workshop, the user reviews will be classified using Logistic Regression to predict whether the review is positive or negative.
