The workshop is given by Mr. Atif Ahmad a Senior Data Scientist.


Speaker Bio:

Mr. Atif Ahmed is a senior data scientist with over 20 years of experience in Data and 10 years of experience in Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and data visualization. Mr. Atif works with Emirates NBD and has been for the past six years as a Data Scientist where he works on Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Insights and AI. He has also worked on over 25 projects with various organizations such as Mubadala deve, High end manufacturers, IT suppliers, Electronic equipment manufacturer and suppliers, Accountants and Retailers.

His key work areas include Advanced Analytics for: Fraud Pattern Recognition Anomaly Detection and clustering, Credit card payment default prediction, Customer Behaviour insights, Clustering, AB Testing and Multi-arm-bandit, De-Dupe, Record Linkage, Network analysis, Customer Churn, Next best offer, Business Analytics, Clustering and segmentation of customers and transactions, Insights, Patterns, Statistical tests, Visualizations and Visualization of Statistical tests, e.g. Anomalies, outliers, inliers, Distributions.

Atif has taught Data Science to Post-Graduates with a teaching experience of 15 years as a visiting and adjunct faculty member.
