In this session, I will give a brief introduction to the current Generative AI Landscape, what the current trends are and how Gemini helps users in the day-to-day, what are the salient features of Google Cloud Platform, and how users can get started with Generative AI using Vertex AI on GCP.

This talk will be conducted standalone with a small demo at the end.

- From Elliot Ave W. tum onto W. Galer Street Flyover and keep left to reach Alaskan Way.

- Take the second right onto Expedia Way West.

- Turn right from the roundabout, and enter the South Car Park under the "Guest" sign. Take a ticket, and park in undesignated spots to the right.

- Once parked, proceed to the Main Entrance, where you will meet your host. See the receptionist for questions on parking fees.
