About this event

Are you interested in learning Android Development? Join our Android Study Jam Viewing Party!

We will watch together a 90 minute live streamed event. During which time, Android experts from Google, Katherine Kuan and Lyla Fujiwara, will show you how to start developing in Android. They will also share tips and free tools that will help you begin your journey. Katherine and Lyla will answer your questions about Android development and how you can get started without prior Android experience.

After watching the live stream, we will go over the upcoming GDG Seattle Android Study Jam sessions and logistics.  The Android Study Jam will follow materials from the Udacity course Android Development for Beginners

Target audiences:

• you are new to programming or

• you have lots of programming experience but never worked on Android

*** Study Jams are community-organized study groups around Google online developer courses.

This will be held in building A (room KIR-6THA-1-Black Stars).  When you arrive you can park in a guest parking spot by building A or building D (P1 or P2).  Suggest the West entrance to the building as that's where we usually set up registration.

There is easy bus service to the Google Kirkland campus as well - Metro 255, 245 and Sound Transit 540 stop here.
