Alain will talk about TypeScript, components, services, pipes, and how to work with Angular CLI through live coding.
Talk: Build your GO web app and deploy on Heroku
Description: This talk goes over building a Go Web App from Scratch using different Go Web frameworks out there. It goes over the challenges and details of using various frameworks. Further, it also details the necessary steps needed to build and deploy a Go Web App on the Heroku Platform.This talk assumes a basic understanding of the Go language.
About the Speakers:
Alain is a Google Developer Expert in Web Technologies / Angular. He started working with Angular JS in 2011. Since then he has worked with all Angular versions on a daily basis, both as a developer and as a technical trainer. He is the organizer of the Sacramento Angular Meetup group, co-organizer of the Google Developer Group chapter in Sacramento, California, and published author of the Packt video course “Getting Started with Angular“.
Sowjanya is a Senior Software Engineer at Heroku. She started off her career as a Hardware Engineer at Intel building SysVerilog components and found her love for Software Design and Engineering only 5 years ago. For the past 5 years she has worked as a Full-Stack Engineer building web applications and services in Ruby, Rails, Go & Node. Today she works on the Backend and Devops at Heroku, primarily using Go, Ruby & Docker. In her free time she is also a mentor at Women Who Code San Francisco.
