*** 🎤 Talk 1: A cause that matters: how tech industry can help save lives? (by Mariya Hirna) ***

War in the digital age looks much different than what we have seen in movies. The Tech community in Ukraine has united against russian aggression and is fighting alongside everyone else. I will tell you how charity conferences raised $500000 in a few months, what an IT army is and how open-source projects make a tangible difference in the state of war.

In this story of good vs evil, everyone can change the course of events. Do you want to know how?

*** 🎤 Talk 2: Journey of the Android white label process at ioki (by Kinnera Putti) ***

White labeling is an integral process for customising on-demand mobility solutions at ioki. With an ever-growing number of projects, we need to optimise for scalability while working on the app in isolation.

During this talk, we will discuss how Android platform features like modularisation have shaped the white labeling pipeline, how to separate responsibilites between the core app and the white label projects, and what makes for a successful run to a project release!

Speaker: Kinnera (she/her) is an Android Developer at ioki, working on the platform features for the white label apps. After a degree in electrical engineering, she worked a few years in Tokyo with Android and React Native and was a Lead for WomenWhoCode Tokyo. A little over a year ago, she moved to Frankfurt and joined ioki. She believes sugar comes before everything else and will not ask you to prove otherwise.

*** 🎤 Talk 3: Conditionally adaptive CSS (by Vadim Makeev) ***

Some people build two versions of their website: mobile and… stationary? Anyway. They sniff around your browser and serve a proper version. Sometimes it even works! Others make it flexible and serve everything the site is capable of in a single file. And triple-sized pictures as well, just in case. All right then. Some are confident that there’s no such thing as a mouse and keyboard on mobile, but of course, there’s unlimited 5G. Interesting! And finally, there’s a user looking at all of this with sadness. How to make it better? There’s one weird trick: listen to your users’ needs!

Speaker: Vadim Makeev, frontend developer at Gorillas, Google Developer Expert. Passionate about frontend, browsers, web standards, accessibility, typography, design, podcasting, audio-video engineering and production.
