What is DevFest?

DevFest is GDG's annual globally distributed conference. It's a community-led tech conference that brings together developers, tech enthusiasts, and industry experts to learn, share, and collaborate on various topics such as software development, recent technology trends, and more. Be it through hands-on learning experiences, technical talks delivered in local languages by experts, or by simply meeting fellow local developers, DevFest attendees explore networking opportunities, foster knowledge exchange and skill development within the tech community, which comes along with exciting ice-breakers, cool giveaways, and fun Challenges!

What is DevFest‘25 All About?

DevFest 2025 is Google’s annual global developer festival, organized by Google Developer Groups (GDGs) across the world, where developers, students, startups, and tech enthusiasts come together to learn, share, and celebrate technology. This year, the focus is on empowering communities to build with AI and Cloud technologies, enabling them to create innovative, scalable, and ethical solutions that shape the future. Each GDG chapter hosts its own DevFest with talks, workshops, hackathons, hiring opportunities, career booth and networking opportunities, making it both a global movement and a local celebration of learning and collaboration.
