This TechTalk event will be about cyberbullying. Cyberbullying has existed since the use of technology expanded in society. The majority of students have at least witnessed cyberbullying. Cyberbullying can lead to mental illness and suicidal or more. In this event we will have a panel that will be engaging with learners on cyber security, which will be lead by Ms Khalipha Babalwa Dube - Women Techmakers Ambassador. There will be demonstrations and activities of programming, use of websites and coding to demonstrate security bridges.
Activities:
Make the most of privacy settings on the web with a little bit of programming skill.
We will Investigate what measures we can take to keep content private on the websites you use. On Facebook and other social networking sites, you can adjust your settings so that only the people you select are able to see your personal information and posts. It’s important to check these privacy settings frequently, because sites sometimes change their policies.
