Dr. Addison holds the Ph.D. Mathematics and M.Phil. Statistics from the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus. She is currently a Project Officer and Statistical Consultant at the University Office of Planning at the UWI, St. Augustine Campus. She has over 10 years’ experience lecturing tertiary level courses in Mathematics, Probability, Statistics. Her portfolio also includes active involvement in statistical consulting , research publications, Mathematics and Statistics outreach events and building statistical capacity in a variety of fields including Natural Sciences. Engineering and Behavioural Sciences.
In addition to this, she builds data-driven models for Higher Education data and her research interests include multidisciplinary applications of mathematical and statistical models for sustainability in STEAM fields. Dr. Addison is currently a Women in Data Science (WiDS) T&T Ambassador as part of the annual WiDS Worldwide conference organized by Stanford University, which features outstanding women contributing to the field of data science.
Mr. Smith holds a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami (Class 1985), specializing in what we as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. After completing his degree Mr. Smith continued studies in the areas of M.Sc. in Finance, Project Management and holds a Post MBA.
In its quest in making renewable energy available to all areas of the population in the Caribbean and Latin American, Mr. Smith and his team are credited with the development of the Grid Tied Government Assisted Model, Zero Coupon Indexed Bonds, Carbon Credit Financing Using Asset Back Securities and Carbon Credit Community Based Financing, Paradigm Shift Moving from Current forms of Electricity Generation to Distributed Generation using a Utility Assisted Structure, PV Integration applying Economic Complexity Principles, Portfolio Theory and Optimization of Solar Electricity delivery using Artificial Intelligence.

Mr. Smith, through SM Solar is also Coordinating Management Entity (CME) for the Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM) Program of Activities for the Caribbean and Central America in addition to his appointment as the regional contact for the International Solar Energy Society and an Advisor with The Private Financing Advisory Network (UNIDO and REEP Project Preparation Facility). Mr. Smith areas of research are in the development of Financial Platforms and Stochastic Models to improve levels of PV Availability, Grid Penetration, Integration, Equality and Inclusion.
