Join us on Thursday, July 28th at 6:30pm to learn more about Progressive Web Apps (PWA). We'll start the evening with some food and drinks and a showing the keynote from the PWA summit last month. Then we'll do some Q and A about the keynote and PWAs. Next we'll add a few features to a website to give it some PWA features. Finally, everyone can do the same to their own site after going though a code lab. Should be a fun night of learning for everyone. If you want to add some PWA features to your own site the first requirement is that it's a secure site using ssl (https). If you want to get started on a real site right away that's the first thing to think about. Thanks to "Let's Encrypt" (https://letsencrypt.org/) we were able to add certs to our example site for free . . . we'll cover that too! See you soon!
