Model View Presenter (MVP) in Android by John Hunchar

As part of his transition to working with Major League Baseball, John has been introduced to a lot of new patterns and approaches to development. One of the more notable transitions was to implementing the Model-View-Presenter (MVP) software architecture. As he is certainly no expert on the topic, he hopes to share his understanding so far, as well as some thoughts on what's good and what's not so good when using MVP.

John Hunchar is an ex-mechanical engineer, who transitioned to Android development after building his first Android app in the process of failing his first start-up. One good thing to come of that failure was a new career path in mobile development. He has spent the last 5 years working in start-ups, as a consultant, and most recently found a way to combine his love of sports with software development, joining the Android team at Major League Baseball.
