About Bernadeth Lucanas:
Bernadeth is a Technical Account Manager for Google Cloud and helps customers plan and execute a cloud strategy to enable a trusted, secure, and reliable platform. Before joining Google, she has been working alongside FSI customers across Asia, Australia, and South Africa for over 15 years, enabling them to develop and execute Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Governance, and Data Management strategies. In 2019, she was one of the keynote speakers during the Google Cloud Sydney Summit where she presented a demo for Smart Analytics.
Outside her normal role in Google, she is an active advocate of Diversity & Inclusion and contributes to empowering women and underrepresented groups both inside and outside Google. She is a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) Network Lead for Google Cloud, an ambassador of APAC Women@Cloud, and a #IamRemarkable facilitator/site lead for Melbourne. Outside work, she loves to spend time with her family, support local communities, and read a good book.

She passionately volunteers her time as the Vice President of SIGCHI Chapter at the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), Charles Darwin University Honorary Research Fellow, Google Mentor and Certified Design Sprint Master, Executive of Indonesian Diaspora Business Council in the field of IT, Technology and Innovation, making a global impact one day at a time. As a Designer and Researcher, she loves working in the field, building empathy with people she designs for. Through her work, she has published a number of well-known international publications benefiting both academia and industry in implementing Service Design worldwide.
