About this event

There will demo and live code some of the serverless products from Google Cloud, including Firebase and Google Cloud Functions.

Cloud Functions for Firebase is a serverless framework that lets you automatically run backend code in response to events triggered by Firebase features and HTTPS requests. Your JavaScript or TypeScript code is stored in Google's cloud and runs in a managed environment.

Google Cloud Functions is a Functions as a Service (FaaS) and Firebase is an entire Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS);

Bret will show you how you can combine these to create entire web and mobile applications without managing servers.

Bret McGowen is a Developer Advocate at Google.
