DevFest WashU is a conference-hackathon combination hosted by the largest computer science and technology-focused student groups at Washington University in St. Louis, including Google Developer Group WashU, Association of Computer Machinery, Women in Computer Science, and Hack WashU, DevFest WashU brings together the software & technology community in WashU and the greater St. Louis region, where students and other attendees can learn about software development as a career through technical workshops, speaker series, hackathons, and networking. The event is a one-day conference combined with an overnight hackathon (spanning the weekend of April 12-13th).

IdeaBouncešŸ’” 

IdeaBounce is an event being hosted at DevFest in conjunction with the Skandalaris Center where aspiring entrepreneurs give 2-minute elevator pitches to seasoned entrepreneurs about their ideas. Judges score each pitch based on three criteria: clarity of the presentation, request for help, and passion of the presenter. You can sign up for the IdeaBounce here, with the top 3 pitches sharing a prize pool of $500.
