About this event

Andreas Happe (https://offensive.one/) is a freelance pen-tester and since 2022 also a doctoral researcher in the Interactive Programming & Analysis (IPA) Lab at TU Wien. Before that, he alternated between his position as a research engineer at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), lecturing at the FH/Technikum Wien, and pen-testing. He's currently a OWASP (Open Worldwide Application Security Project) leader for both a chapter and projects.

His research focuses on the intersection of AI and Security, especially on the use of LLMs for offensive security (aka "hacking"). One high-impact project growing out of this research is hackingBuddyGPT, which was part of the GitHub Accelerator 2024 program.

On April 8th he will give an exciting talk about his work and afterwards we will get the chance to discuss and network.
