“Google UP!” is an exciting orientation event hosted by Google Developer Groups on Campus, University of St. La Salle, on November 8. This character-driven gathering will not only introduce new members to the club’s community, mission, and structure but also marks the grand unveiling of the club’s brand-new mascots. The event will kick off with a keynote from a Googler, followed by host introductions and a comprehensive FAQ session. Participants will learn about GDG’s community structure, member responsibilities, conduct guidelines, and the perks of active involvement, including an overview of graduation criteria and upcoming events. An engaging departmental activity and Q&A session will create an interactive space for members to ask questions and bond. The program will conclude with a “GDSC Rewind,” closing remarks, and the USLS Hymn, making this a memorable event as the new mascots step into the spotlight, symbolizing the vibrant spirit of the GDG community.
