The African Blockchain Championship Kickoff Weekend marked the official launch of

a continent-wide initiative designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and the

creation of practical blockchain solutions. The two-day event brought together

developers, entrepreneurs, investors, and blockchain enthusiasts for immersive

experiences including workshops, networking, and competitive ideation. The

innovative ideas generated will compete for prizes in upcoming rounds of the

championship, which will take place in Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria, and Ethiopia.
