The Build with AI Hackathon is designed for curious and ambitious students who want to connect with others, learn something new, and explore the world of artificial intelligence in a fun and hands-on way. In a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, participants will work together, test out ideas, and take their first (or next) steps in building with AI.

The event will take place on May 3rd and 4th at the Palace of Science (Kralja Milana 11, Belgrade).

Students will be mentored while solving real-world problems and pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence using large language models (LLMs), including Google’s Gemini.

🗣Speakers

Our first speaker is prof. PhD Dražen Drašković. With 15+ years of experience in software engineering, AI, and emerging tech, Professor Drašković is an Associate Professor at the University of Belgrade, and a recognized expert with publications in international journals and conferences.

He’ll be leading an insightful workshop: Demystifying Generative AI: How AI Learns & Generates Content” – including great examples of how large language models (LLMs) can be used in the Serbian language.

Our second speaker Vanja Milutinović will teach you how to build your pitch! As a Google Developer Student Organizer since 2020, with a background in Software Engineering, a master's student at the University of Belgrade, and experience working in corporation, Vanja has extensive knowledge in tech and leadership. 

In her Build Your Pitch session, she’ll share tips on how to effectively present ideas to the jury. Through practical examples and hands-on pitch practice, you'll learn what to focus on for a winning presentation.

• What happens If I apply alone? If you apply on your own, after passing the technical testing and interview, teams are formed from individual applications.
