The Gemini API in Vertex AI, powered by the Google Gen AI SDK for Python, enables fast and flexible text generation using the Gemini 2.0 Flash model.

In this session, you’ll learn how to generate and stream text, handle multi-turn chats, use async methods, and configure model behavior.

You’ll also explore safety filters, controlled generation, token counting, multimodal input processing, and function calling with code execution.
