Beginner-friendly workshop on designing AI integration into products with Google’s GenAI & PAIR—covering user-centric design, responsible AI, and rapid prototyping.

As part of the larger SUEDE Designathon, we’re excited to bring you a workshop on integrating AI into any existing or new products in a user-centric and ethical way. Drawing on Google’s campaign GenAI Academy (Intro to GEN AI Learning Path) and PAIR (People + AI) modules, the session is designed for beginners, designers, developers, and product managers alike. No prior knowledge is required!
You’ll learn how to embed AI into new or existing products while keeping the human touch at the centre of the experience. We’ll also cover responsible AI practices and share key insights on intellectual property ownership to help you build responsibly from the ground up.
The workshop will conclude with a networking and rapid prototyping session, where you’ll dive into lean UX, co-create a small project prioritising user feedback, and maybe even get an idea or find a team for your Design-a-thon project!
P.S. Active participation can lead to a direct accreditation from Google’s Cloud Skills (which looks really good on the CV!)
📍For the best experience, we highly recommend bringing your laptop/ipad :)
