π Event Overview
Google Ideate 2.0 - Student Innovation Challenge is an interdepartmental ideathon designed to foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving among students. Hosted under GDG on Campus SVIET and as part of the Global Futures Summit 2.0: Industry and HR Perspectives - 2025, this event aligns with the Google Solution Challenge 2025 and aims to encourage students to develop ideas based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) π.
π Event Timeline
ποΈ 1st March - 3rd March: Live Registration & Submission
Participants must register and submit their PowerPoint presentations (PPTs) π showcasing their innovative ideas.
The submissions will be evaluated, and the top 25 presentations will be shortlisted for the next stage.
ποΈ 4th March: U-Zone Presentation
The top 25 teams will present their ideas at the U-Zone π€.
A panel of judges will evaluate the presentations based on creativity, feasibility, impact, and alignment with the 17 UN SDGs π±.
5 teams will be selected for the final round.
π Final Presentation: Auditorium - In Front of HR & Industrialists
The top 5 teams will present their ideas in front of esteemed HR representatives and industry experts π§βπΌπ©βπΌ.
Winners will be selected based on their presentation, potential real-world impact, and innovation π‘.
π Prize Pool
The total prize pool includes worth INR 25,000/- πΈ.
Additional recognition opportunities may include mentorship, networking opportunities π€, and potential project funding π‘.
π Eligibility & Participation
The event is open to all students from any department (cross-departmental participation is encouraged π€).
Each team must consist of 2-4 members π₯.
Ideas must strictly adhere to the 17 UN SDGs π and follow the principles of the Google Solution Challenge 2025 π.
π Rules & Regulations
Originality π: The idea must be original and not previously implemented or copied.
Alignment with SDGs π: Each project must align with at least one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Google Solution Challenge Guidelines π: The ideathon follows the official Google Solution Challenge 2025 framework.
Presentation Format π: Submitted PPTs must be in the standard format (Max 10 slides), including problem statement, solution, implementation plan, and expected impact.
Decision Authority βοΈ: Judges' decisions at every stage will be final and binding.
Team Composition π₯: A team can have 2 to 4 members. Cross-departmental collaborations are highly encouraged.
Intellectual Property π‘: Participants retain ownership of their ideas, but The Uniques Community and event organizers reserve the right to feature selected projects in promotional materials.
